Last Verified Date

The date a directory listing was most recently confirmed to be live and accurate.

Definition

This timestamp tells you how fresh the verification is — a listing checked yesterday is a safer bet than one checked eight months ago, even if both currently show a verified badge.

Why it matters to marketers

Traffic sites in this niche have a higher-than-average failure rate; a listing that was accurate six months ago may already be a dead domain today. Treat the last verified date as an expiration gauge — the older it is, the more worth double-checking before you invest sign-up time or upgrade money.
