Manual surfing requires you to open or click through other members' pages for a set timer before earning credits. It is the classic traffic-exchange participation model.
Why people still do it
Some marketers prefer the deliberate pace and the chance to scout competing offers while earning credits. It costs time rather than (or in addition to) cash.

Choose manual surf when you can batch focused sessions and want higher-touch participation; add auto-surf later for volume.
